Salman Al-Ansari

Salman Al-Ansari advises clients on all facets of their operations in the MiddleEast, from corporate formation, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, finance and securities, to intellectual property, real estate and construction. Being a visiting lecturer at Qatar University, Mr.Al-Ansari’s in-depth academic experience, along with his knowledge of local laws, allows him to efficiently advise clients on the legal complexities of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Al-Ansari worked at a leading international firm and as a full-time lecturer of law for three years at QatarUniversity College of Law, where he taught courses such as Company Law andLegal Research and Writing. Mr. Al-Ansari was engaged to advise on one of the largest mergers in the State of Qatar.

  • Advised a leading LNG company on a USD100million pledge agreement.
  • Advised on, drafted and negotiated commercial leases, joint ventures and license agreements.
  • Advised on and assisted clients in evaluating complex multi-millionAmerican dollar LNG Pipeline claims.
  • Advised on, drafted and negotiated a telecommunication operation in an arbitration agreement and submission thereto relating to 2 billionQatari riyal claim.
  • Advising a listed Qatari commercial bank in its merger negotiations with another bank.
  • Advising Doha Film lnstituteon a multi-hundred million Qatari riyal production agreement.
  • Representing the New Doha lnternational Airport as its local counsel in a multi-hundred million Qatari riyal mediation.
  • Representing a multinational Joint Venture as its local counsel in a multi-billion Qatari riyal mediation.
  • Advising as the local counsel on the first Qatari
  • Sharia compliant Real Estate lnvestment Trust (RElT) to be listed at theSingapore Exchange (SGX).
