Roqayya Mollazehi

Roqayya Mollazehi is a trilingual lawyer with substantial experience in litigation, arbitration and legal advisory work. She advises clients across a wide range of sectors including construction, energy, oil & gas, telecommunication and media broadcasting, on disputes spanning commercial, civil and employment matters, in addition to compliance and contractual issues.

Before joining Al Ansari Law Firm, Roqayya gained valuable in-house experience at RasGas Company Limited (now Qatar gas), where she was involved in drafting and negotiating contracts and advising on compliance matters. Earlier in her career, she practiced at a local law firm in the Islamic Republic of Iran, where she handled a variety of litigation claims on behalf of clients.

Fluent in Arabic, English, and Farsi, Roqayya is well-positioned to serve a diverse client base across the region.

•  Represented and provided legal support to an Electro-mechanical company in a high-value dispute valued at QAR 1 billion.

•  Supported a leading Electro-mechanical company in a complex dispute valued at QAR757 million and advised on the terms of the settlement agreement.  

•  Provided legal advice to a private non-profit institution on the settlement of a complex construction dispute valued at QAR 99 million ,including contractual risk assessment.

•  Represented a major Electro-mechanical company in a large-scale construction dispute valued at approximately QAR 167 million.

•  Supported a private Qatari joint stock company in a commercial claim dispute valued at QAR 80 million.

•  Represented and provided legal support to a leading Oil & gas company in a rental, facilities, and assignment agreement dispute valued at QAR 47 million.

•  Represented a leading regional delivery company in a QICCA arbitration arising from service and transaction disputes under Qatar’s electronic commerce regulations.

•  Provided strategic legal counsel to a leading digital platform company on innovative contractual frameworks.

•  Provided legal advice to a prominent media broadcaster on employment compliance, internal policy restructuring.

•  Delivered legal opinion to a major construction company on confidentiality breaches.

•  Advising a national media company on various employment issues.
